MINI SPLIT INSTALLATION IN MONTROSE AREA of HOUSTON, TX
Here we are on a rooftop in Montrose. A home that was built in the 30s that had packaged rooftop ac units. Not surprisingly two rooms upstairs with the most sun exposure from great big windows has always been uncomfortably hot. A perfect application for Ductless Mini Splits.

We mounted the unit on 4x4s for stability.

Added a rectorseal condensate pump (the white tear drop on the bottom of the indoor unit) – chose to do this in order to run the water naturally produced by the unit through a gutter instead of down the side of the building.
